About
Dar Al- Hijrah
About Our History
Established in 1983 CE (1403 AH), Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center has grown alongside the Muslim community it serves. Initially operating from a small house in Falls Church, VA, the centerβs strategic location near the Washington, D.C. metro area enabled it to serve a vibrant community of 40,000 Muslims. In 1991 (1411 AH), the current facility opened, overcoming significant challenges to become a hub for worship, education, and community engagement.
A registered non-profit in Virginia (Tax ID: 31-1256417), Dar Al-Hijrah has been affiliated with the Muslim American Society (MAS) since 1999. Together, they promote religious, educational, and charitable initiatives, fostering unity and service for all.

What the Ummah is saying
See all reviews βGood masjid overall. Prayer spaces are clean and the community is friendly. Parking can be tight during Jumu'ah but manageable if you come early.

Solid masjid in . Regular prayer times, decent facilities. The khutbahs are informative. Could use some updates to the wudu area but overall a good experience. A real asset to the community.
