Alaska is the largest state in the U.S.,with a landmass of apporximatley 586,412 square miles and population nearly 700 thousand people
Anchorage is the largest city in the state,and for it's size ,is one of the most diverse cities in the United States.There are more 90 languages spoken here and approximately 30% of the population is non-Caucasian.
There are more than 3000 Muslims living in Anchorage with nationalities from all over the world. The first masjid of Alaska will provied much needed space for the growing Muslim community.
The Islamic Community Center of Anchorage Alaska is a diverse community that includes African Americans, Caucasians, Albanians, South Asians, Africans, Middle Eastern, Indonesians, Malaysians, Alaska Natives and others. The estimated number of Muslims in Anchorage is 2,000 to 3,000 people.
The Islamic Community Center of Anchorage Alaska (ICCAA) is a non profit organization with 501(c)(3) status.
Our Goals
Establish the first Masjid and School with an Islamic Community Center that will be a beacon highlighting the values of Islam.
Have a Monday to Friday School teaching both Islamic and regular curriculum
Islamic daycare center and playground
Conference rooms to host:Islamic lectures,Halaqas for youth,Women and Men.
Interfaith events.
Community outreach programs.
Social events and functions.
Islamic library.
Kitchen to facilitate iftares.Community wide potlucks, and other events

One of the best masjids in . The community here is warm and inclusive. Great programs for kids and families. Jumu'ah is always packed which says a lot. Alhamdulillah for places like this.
