Welcome to the Peninsula Muslim Association (PMA)
Our Mission

 The aims and purposes of the Peninsula Muslim Association (PMA) shall be to serve Muslims in the Peninsula (Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, and Cupertino) area so as to enable them to implement Islam as a complete way of life. The fundamental purpose of the PMA shall be to encourage and to enable Muslims to acquire the basic knowledge and competence in Islam in order to contribute individually and collectively towards meeting human needs in conformity with Islamic doctrines and beliefs. It shall also be the purpose of the Association to create a feeling of brotherhood and to avoid any wrong practices in Islam. Towards this end, it shall:
1. Arrange and hold congregational prayers and Islamic religious festivals at appropriate times
2. Provide religious instruction to children, youth, and adults
3. Promote unity and cooperation among Muslims and other faiths
4. Conduct intra-faith informational exchange
5. Conduct outreach to communities via volunteering, holding charitable events for the disadvantage
