We started with a dream and grew into a "street food revolution."</strong>
The journey began in 2020 when Chef Hisham Abdelfattah launched the first El Halal Amigos 100% Halal certified food truck. This initial step proved successful, leading to a significant expansion in 2021. In that same year, Chef Hisham and his team opened their first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Willow Glen, San Jose, CA, marking a major milestone in their growth.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">El Halal Amigos has been featured on major networks like Food Network, CBS, and ABC News, significantly increasing their visibility and reach.The story continues to the present day, with 2025 being a pivotal year, as they are also serving thousands of local community members at the SAP Center.</p>
<p style="text-align: center">Chef Hisham's go-to order is “Carne Asada Tacos with Extra Nar!!" showcasing his signature and quite popular dish. Chef Eddie, another integral part of the team, loves the Barbacoa Costillas with Mexican Rice–what a diverse menu!</p>
